So a month on!

So a month ago I decided I needed to blog my weight loss journey as I try to lose 42 pounds. All because I needed accountability, and a new note pad ( if you know me, you know I just lurve a new notepad, fresh start and all that) but it just doesn’t work for me. It’s like the food logs i’ve been asked to fill in when I’ve joined a weight loss/fitness organisation. I start off all guns blazing and then the minute I eat something that takes me over my allowance , be it calories, syns or points I somehow forget to jot it down and then it’s that feeling of disappointment in myself and I give up .But ,don’t you worry it will soon be MONDAY! and the process starts again. So I thought to myself WOW , lets go crazy and put it out there and share my journey to the world via the big World Wide Web cause that will be my answer, right?

Reality check. Firstly who actually gives a crap about what I’m doing? Everyone I know (well not everyone, that’s me being a bit dramatic) but the majority of people I know are struggling themselves. So has it really made any difference ? Well first week , I was on fire! lost 3 pound. Following week put on a pound, last week to embarrassed to post and it was so nearly the end of my blog . Until I got a message, asking “when’s your next blog?”. So here I am and today I can say that I’ve lost 4 pound in total during August. , Now Peter Kay may say he could `”shit 4 pound” ( you’ll know what I’m talking about if you’ve seen his slimming club clip) but it’s a weight I’ve not seen for a long time. I’m under the stone mark ( still a bit embarrassed to say what I am) I will do when I’ve achieved more , but more importantly those 4 pounds are 16 pounds of impact on my knees. I can’t do the exercise that I was doing, as the legs are so painful at times. But I’ve started walking more with the doggies cause that’s a win win. So I want 5 pound of by the end of September and if anyone feels like joining me, hop on board, the more the merrier. So 38 pounds to go now!
